Needed: Ramps and Ramp Builders
There seems to be a definate increase lately in the need for ramps--not only for our clients but for others in the community as well. Until recently, we had a couple of great ramp builders who volunteered their services to hospice, but unfortunately they've all moved away. Because we can no longer rely on our great volunteers to help us with ramps when needed, we are looking at other options, such as purchasing a portable metal ramp, or seeing if we could get parts donated to us and then build something ourselves.
If anyone has any ideas, spare parts, or skills and a little time, please let us know. We need your help!
Working Air Conditioners

We are always in need of these for our clients during the warmer summer months. If you happen to have an old one taking up space in your garage, we'd be glad to take it off of your hands!
Comfort Bear Materials
Burden Bears are soft, cuddly bears complete with their own blanket and uplifting message. The bears are given to our hospice patients or their families, Women's Aid, local funeral homes, or anyone else in the community in need of comforting. The making of these bears includes anyone in the area interested in getting together for a good cause: volunteers, nursing home residents, Girl Scouts, 4-H'ers, ect. Donations for Burden Bears may be dropped off at our office at 401 S. Main St. in Mount Pleasant.
